The Early Birders Tour

For folks who want to enjoy a pristine beach largely for themselves, this tour departs from our Parking Lot at 7am sharp. We then head directly to the Ramp 70 entrance to the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Visitors can enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in America before the crowds arrive later in the morning.

Birding, Bird Viewing, Wildlife Viewing, Our Early Birders Tour

Birding, Bird Viewing, Wildlife Viewing, for the early birds, tour leaves at 7:00am sharp and heads directly to the Ramp 70 entrance of Cape Hatteras Seashore.  There will be opportunities to discover nesting sea turtle tracks, catch bottlenose dolphins or harbor porpoise surfing the waves, and, of course, see a variety of sea birds. National Park Service biologists may be seen confirming and protecting sea turtle nests. Upon disembarkation, folks can be the first of the day to shell along the waterline. Tour Length: 1.5 Hours Drive Time: 30 minutes roundtrip. Beach Time: 1 Hour.
